Q: Is this a boy-only troop?
A: Technically there are 3 units.
- Troop 417 is for Boys aged 11-18
- Troop 7417 is for Girls aged 11-18
- Crew 417 is for Venturing (coed) aged 14-21
For the most part, kids and adults do things together on campouts and service projects. Some activities are high-adventure with higher minimum age requirements. Female leaders are required for events with female scouts.
